Collection in Chicago

The Terra Foundation for American Art recognizes the importance of experiencing original works of art, beginning with the presentation and growth of its own art collection. A selection of artworks from its collection is on display at the Art Institute of Chicago and the foundation lends objects from its collection to exhibitions that advance scholarship in and the interpretation of American art.
