Exhibition: Marvelous Objects: Surrealist Sculpture from Paris to New York

Surrealist art has largely been defined over the past century as predominantly paintings and drawings by artists working in Paris. A few exhibitions focusing on sculptures have addressed only one aspect: found-object assemblages. Marvelous Objects seeks to present a more holistic overview of Surrealism from the early 1920s through the late 1940s, in Europe and the United States, and will consist of more than 100 works.
