Amy Gunderson Biography

Director of Grants Administration and Operations

Amy Gunderson (she/her) is an experienced grants administrator with over eighteen years in the nonprofit arts and culture sector. As Terra’s Director of Grants Administration and Operations, she manages the foundation’s grantmaking operations internally and externally. Amy works to incorporate the foundation’s mission into its grant processes, implementing practices that encourage equity and access worldwide.

Previously, Amy worked for the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and for the Arts Council of Indianapolis, where she administered grant programs for arts organizations and individual artists alike.

Amy holds a BS in Arts Administration/Dance from Butler University. When Amy’s not cheering on her Butler Bulldogs, she spends most of her free time wrangling her poorly trained pets.
