Andrew Reyes-Burkholder Biography

Collection Associate

Andrew Reyes-Burkholder (he/him) serves as the Collection Associate at the Terra Foundation for American Art. His passion for working closely with artworks has shaped his career, which includes experience in both contemporary and historical art museums as well as exhibition development.

At the Terra Foundation, Andrew plays a pivotal role in managing the collection, facilitating outgoing loan processes, taking care of the collection and its spaces, and fostering connections with domestic and international institutions through the sharing of artworks. Andrew holds an MA in Museum and Exhibition Studies from the University of Illinois Chicago and a BA in Art History and Sculpture from Dominican University.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his dog, hot yoga, walks along the lakefront, and binge-watching a captivating TV series.
