Arthur Cohen is CEO and founder of Arthur M. Cohen Advisors, Ltd., where he is a consultant and advisor to cultural and creative organizations. After co-founding and leading his previous enterprise, LaPlaca Cohen—a strategic communications practice serving museums and the cultural sector more broadly—Arthur currently focuses on strategic visioning for organizations planning their futures; executive coaching for cultural leaders; and audience-focused insight presentations and workshops for arts and creative professionals.
He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard Business School, and the London School of Economics. Arthur has also served as Associate Professor of Practice at the University of Pennsylvania, Adjunct Professor at Stanford University, and Visiting Professor at New York University.
His collection of American art focuses on early Modernism from New York and outer Cape Cod, and late-twentieth-century abstraction from Southern California.
Arthur also serves on the Executive Committee of NYC & Co. and the board of Modernism Week in Palm Springs. He resides in New York and California.
