Carrie Haslett (she/her) is Senior Program Director of Exhibition Grants & Initiatives at the Terra Foundation, overseeing the development and management of grant programs worldwide. She has also developed a series of academic initiatives in China, launched the Art Bridges-Terra Foundation Initiative, and directed the transformative digitization grants awarded to the Archives of American Art. Her work is dedicated to expanding the narratives of American art by illuminating diverse histories and inspiring connections in the present.
With over twenty years of experience in arts administration and grantmaking, Carrie is deeply committed to advancing arts programs. Prior to serving in her current role, she held numerous positions in the arts, including curator of modern art at the Portland Museum of Art.
Carrie holds several degrees in art history, including a PhD from Bryn Mawr College, an MA from Case Western Reserve University, and a BA from Swarthmore College. Her academic background, combined with years of strategic leadership in cultural institutions, has shaped her approach to arts philanthropy.
