Juan Lucero Biography

Program Manager, Indigenous Initiatives and Partnerships

Juan Lucero (he/him) is the Program Manager of Indigenous Initiatives and Partnerships at the Terra Foundation for American Art. He began his career in the Native arts field in 2005, focusing on building relationships with Southwest tribes.

Juan holds a BA in Museum Studies from the Institute of American Indian Arts. He is pursuing a MA in the same field from the University of Oklahoma.

Outside of work, he is a passionate coffee lover and a heavy metal music enthusiast. Above all, Juan values spending time with his family and traveling with them.
