Collection Loan: American Watercolor in the Age of Homer and Sargent

From the collection of the Terra Foundation, two watercolors by Winslow Homer are exhibited in American Watercolor in the Age of Homer and Sargent,  Apple Picking, 1878 and A Garden in Nassau, 1885.  This exhibition examines the transformation of American practice in watercolor painting in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The illustrated catalogue is distributed by Yale University Press.
