Lecture: “The 1933–34 Chicago Century of Progress Model Homes and the Rise of Modern Design”

Elizabeth McGoey, Ann S. and Samuel M. Mencoff Assistant Curator of American Decorative Arts at the Art Institute of Chicago, looks at the robust interior and decorative arts design program at the 1933-34 Chicago World’s Fair and explores its influence on later exhibitions of modern design in the United States.
