To support the planning of the exhibition Twisted Path: In the Shadow of the Eagle (working title), to be installed at the Abbe Museum in 2025. In tandem with a team of scholars, advocates, and artists, the curatorial team is examining diverse perspectives, dominant narratives, histories, and works by Native artists that express emotional and cultural reflections on the Indigenous North American roots of American democracy, the missing stories of Native involvement in the American Revolution, critical responses to the US government’s history, and contemporary challenges.
