To support the summer 2012 program “Advanced Workshop in Western Art and Art History: American Art and Modernism” in New York for art historians from China. The third in a series of programs on Western art, this workshop builds on previous programs and fosters greater understanding of American culture in China. It engages fifteen Chinese scholars who teach Western art history with American art scholars and collections.
