To support a scholarly convening and research travel for the development of essays on Chicago artists Ray Yoshida, Michiko Itatani, and James Numata. The essays will be published with their related source materials as part of a digital humanities project—the Virtual Asian American Art Museum—a peer-reviewed resource that presents a transnational American art history using connected collections from multiple institutions.
