To support August Moon for August Wilson by Ming Smith, an exhibition featuring a suite of Smith’s photographs that have never been seen together in Pittsburgh. In 1991 Smith traveled to Pittsburgh to document what became recognized as her August Wilson series. She had hoped to initiate future collaborative projects with Wilson; this project seeks to bring her early vision to fruition. A printed exhibition booklet, with a digital version accessible online, will accompany the show.
