To support the November 2007 scholars’ meeting, at the Spanierman Gallery in New York City,
concerning issues of attribution in the works of Fitz Henry Lane and his leading student and
sometime collaborator Mary Blood Mellen. A report of the day’s findings will be available as a
supplement to the exhibition catalogue Fitz Henry Lane and Mary Blood Mellen: Old Mysteries and
New Discoveries.
