To support an exhibition focusing on six newly conserved, large-scale murals that Hale Woodruff painted for Talladega’s Savery Library between 1939 and 1942. Organized by the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Rising Up: Hale Woodruff’s Murals from Talladega College was shown at the Chicago Cultural Center, March 23–June 16, 2013.
