To support “Talkin’ Back,” a year-long program offered by Columbia College’s Center for Community Arts Partnerships and Museum of Contemporary Photography. The program allows students and teachers to learn about American photographs in the museum’s collection, create their own photographs, and respond to the photographs using poems and prose. The project culminates with a public exhibition of students’ writing and photographs, and includes professional development opportunities for classroom teachers and teaching artists.
