To support the third in a series of four annual presentations of American art. Co-organized by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Bentonville, Arkansas; the High Museum of Art, Atlanta; the Musée du Louvre, Paris; and the Terra Foundation for American Art, the presentation focuses on portraiture and includes significant works from the U.S. partners and the Louvre’s collection. The presentation opens at the Louvre in January 2014 and is accompanied by a curator’s lecture and a publication.
