To support the catalogue, educational programming, and the 2008 exhibition 1968: Art and Politics
in Chicago, which reassesses artistic responses to the 1968 Democratic National Convention. The
exhibition includes forty works by American artists from several 1968 exhibitions held in Chicago in
response to events at the convention.
