To support the French-language catalogue and the 2007–2008 exhibition The Mythology of the
American West at the Musée des Beaux-Arts (Rouen, France), the Musée des Beaux-Arts (Rennes,
France), and the Centre de la Vieille-Charité (Marseilles, France). The exhibition explores nineteenth- and early twentieth-century American artists’ representations of the American West and its inhabitants.
