To support Art of Illinois, an exhibition of paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts that showcases the creative achievements of artists and artisans working in Chicago and other parts of Illinois from the mid-nineteenth century to the present. The exhibition is presented at the state’s historic Executive Mansion in Springfield as part of the state bicentennial celebration, and is the inaugural exhibition following the mansion’s renovation.
