To support the development of Constelações: Visualizing Abolition from Brazil to the United States, an exhibition and programming initiative by organizers, curators, and artists in Brazil and the United States to creatively engage audiences in the shared issues around prisons and inequality in both countries. Working across prison borders in all aspects of the initiative, and in collaboration with artists and current and formerly incarcerated people in the two nations, the project culminates in a multi-site exhibition and conference.
