In May 2010, the Terra Foundation for American Art Europe Library received an extraordinary gift of the 3,500-volume library of the late Roger Stein, Professor of the History of Art at the University of Virginia, which will offer researchers impressive resources in American studies and visual culture. Terra Foundation for American Art Europe staff will process and catalog the books according to current bibliographical standards as well as integrate them into an existing online catalog. This gift will be publicized to an international audience, making the full breadth of the Terra Foundation Europe collection readily available to scholars for onsite use.
