To support the introduction of two types of Research and Development grants: grants for International Curatorial Travel and grants for Internationally Collaborative, Pre-Exhibition Convenings. These grants are intended to encourage international curators both to learn more about historical American art and to present exhibitions of American art at their home institutions.
