To support the reinstallation of the Montreal Museum of Fine Art’s multimedia collection of Inuit arts in two newly designed galleries around the theme of uummaqutik (“essence of life” in Inuktitut), organized by a celebrated Nunavimmiuq artist and curator in collaboration with an Inuit advisory committee and featured artists. Gallery texts are offered in Inuktitut, French, and English, along with an audio interpretation of works in the exhibition and an audio description tour.
