To support the development, with two guest curators and community representatives, of a conceptual framework for the complete reinstallation of the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico (San Juan)’s permanent collection galleries to revisit the canon of art in Puerto Rico, foreground dialogue between paradigmatic works and emerging artists, expand ideas about Puerto Rican identity on and beyond the island, and embrace a variety of perspectives on the museum’s twenty-fifth anniversary in 2025.
