To support Sargent: Portraits of Artists and Friends, an exhibition exploring John Singer Sargent’s friendships with his contemporaries—figures such as Auguste Rodin, Jacques-Emile Blanche, Robert Louis Stevenson, and Henry James—and their significance in the development of his art. More than 100 portraits are featured. The exhibition also travels to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York City.
