To support a series of three free panel discussions held in conjunction with screenings of Pentimenti Productions’ film Hairy Who & The Chicago Imagists (2014). The first feature-length documentary film to tell the story of the Chicago Imagists, the production explores the influences on and predecessors of the Imagists, their relationship to national and global art movements, and significance for artists working today. Panel topics include the Imagists in Hyde Park, art and comics, and the role of women in Imagism and contemporary art. Each panel is presented online on Pentimenti’s website.
