To support Paul Strand: Photography and Film for the 20th Century, the first comprehensive presentation of the work of Paul Strand since 1971. The exhibition includes approximately 220 prints and three films drawn mainly from the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s holdings, along with selected works by Strand’s contemporaries. Both English and Spanish-language publications are included. The exhibition travels to the Fotomuseum Winterthur, Switzerland; the Fundación Mapfre, Madrid; and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
