To support the development with Indigenous culture bearers of a two-part inaugural exhibition and accompanying publication of the Shelburne Museum’s Perry Center for Native American Art, opening in September 2026 for culturally sensitive exhibitions and housing Native American art from the museum’s collection, including Plains, Southwest, Pueblo, and Northwest Coast baskets, textiles, tools, and art and the recently gifted Perry Collection of Native American Art, which contains historically important examples of Pueblo pottery and Plains beadwork.
