To support planning for programming focused on Chicago’s art and design legacy. The grant will fund an advisory committee to assess program and content ideas for the initiative and develop an initiative plan, including various kinds of public and K–12 programs, archival projects, publications, and more. Additionally, the project will explore avenues for updating and expanding a 1991 directory of Chicago art and design archival resources.
