Pamela Robertson, Professor of Mackintosh Studies and Senior Curator at the Hunterian Art Gallery at the University of Glasgow, examines the ideas that shaped the work of progressive designers in Britain, Europe, and America at the turn of the twentieth century and the international exchange of ideas that shaped Frank Lloyd Wright and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh, who has been described as Wright’s European counterpart.
This lecture is part of the “Origins and Influences” series presented by the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust.
