Scholar Christian Witt-Dörring presents research on Vienna’s architecture and design at the time of Frank Lloyd Wright’s 1910 visit, focusing on the idea of the house as a Gesamtkunstwerk, or total work of art. The lecture examines the generation of architects that shaped Vienna at the turn of the twentieth century, using Wright and his Robie House as a starting point.
