March 21, 2016
Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art, Paris

For a scholar, there is nothing more exciting than making new discoveries using primary sources. In this talk, Archives of American Art Deputy Director Liza Kirwin provides an overview of the types of material available online through the Archives’ digitized collections and addresses common research questions and trends in the field of American art history. Kirwin’s lecture (in English) is followed by brief presentations (in French) by Sébastien Chauffour and Nathalie Boulouch of the archive collections of the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art (INHA) and the Archives de la Critique d’Art, respectively.
