Terra Foundation Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowships at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin

Jennifer Y. Chuong is the 2021-2025 Terra Foundation Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She will work on a research project entitled “Surface Experiments: Early America."

Andrew Witt is the 2018–2020 Terra Foundation Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. His research project is entitled “Afterlives: Experimental Photography in Los Angeles 1930–1950.”

Larne Abse Gogarty is the 2016–2018 Terra Foundation Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at the Humboldt Universität, Berlin, where she will be working on a project entitled "Group work: sculpture, performance and politics in the United States, 1950–1980."

The 2021–25 cycle of the teaching program at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, at the Institute of Art and Visual History, allows two postdoctoral fellows to teach and engage in research on American art history over a two-year period each. The courses are also open to students from the Freie Universität Berlin.

The 2023–25 Terra Foundation Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is Jenny Tang, who completed her PhD at Yale University in 2023.
