Since 2007 the Terra Foundation for American Art has funded a series of special segments on Chicago Tonight, a nightly public affairs program on the local PBS affiliate WTTW, which focus on American artists and exhibitions of American art in Chicago. Selected highlights of recent programming include:
- Painter Archibald Motley, who depicted Chicago’s Jazz Age,
- Art jewelry on view at the Driehaus Museum, and
- The work of Chicago sculptor Richard Hunt.
