Terra Foundation Fellowship in American Photography at the Rijksmuseum

This fellowship is designed to spearhead original research on American photographs in the Rijksmuseum collection. The fellow will engage with the museum’s curators of photography over a twelve-month period to research selected works, photographers, and themes in preparation of a major exhibition of the museum’s American photography collection. In order to activate, broaden, and strengthen a network of local and international scholars, the fellow will actively contribute to the organization of a study day at the Rijksmuseum.

This fellowship is open to PhD students and postdoctoral candidates specialized in American photography. The deadline for applications is January 19, 2020.
