To support the symposium “Arthur C. Danto and the Work of Art: from Object to Theory,” at the Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, in Beijing, China. Co-organized with the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum and the University of Minnesota, this project brings together American and Chinese institutions and scholars around the translation of Danto’s work into Chinese and his subsequent impact on Chinese art criticism.
