To support an exhibition and accompanying full-color catalogue showcasing works from the museum’s permanent collection by Illinois artists identifying as African American, Asian American, Indigenous, and/or LGBTQ. The project will be collaboratively developed by three guest curators. The exhibition will be on view at the Illinois State Museum in 2024 before travelling to the Lockport Gallery in Lockport, Illinois, and to Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
