To support Intuit’s Teacher Fellowship Program in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 school years. This annual program is designed to help 24 Chicago teachers at 12 schools integrate American outsider art and artists into their curriculum. Teachers learn about the work and lives of outsider artists and strategies to introduce students to outsider art during a year of professional development sessions, including lectures, visits to collections, curriculum planning, and a student field trip. The program culminates annually with a public exhibition of students’ work at Intuit.
