To support the exhibition The Left Front: Radical Artists in the “Red Decade,” 1929–1940, which explores the links between art and leftist politics in 1930s America, with special consideration given to the John Reed Club and the American Artists Congress. Approximately 100 works are featured in a gallery space converted to a makeshift John Reed Club, and the publication for the exhibition is a free newspaper styled after 1930s leftist journalists. The exhibition opens at the Block in January 2014.
