To support “American Art of the Sixties: The Meanings of Visual and Material Forms in a Transnational Context”, a two-day symposium on American art of the 1960s, bringing together national and international scholars with the goal of presenting research that bridges what scholars have called the “Americanist-Modernist” divide.
